Split the bill on the till

Here you learn how to let several customers pay separately.

You can split by item or by amount, and each payer can pay their own way.

Step by step

Tick a step when it is done

Button names are written as they appear on a till set to Danish. The brackets give the name on a till set to English, the first time a button is mentioned. Change the till's language

  1. Add the items to the order.
  2. Tap Flere valg (More options).
  3. Tap Del regning (Split bill).
  4. Under Per vare (By item), tap what payer 1 is paying for.
  5. Tap Kontant (Cash), and choose the note or Lige penge (Exact amount).
  6. It is now payer 2. Tap the items, or tap Vælg resten af bonen (Select the rest of the bill).
  7. Tap Kort (Card). Payer 2 pays on the card terminal.
  8. Choose whether the customers should have a receipt.

  9. Good to know

    • Split by amount: Tap Beløb (Amount). Choose Del ligeligt (Split evenly) with 2 to 5 people, or enter the amount on the number pad.
    • Remove an item: Tap − to take 1 off the payer. Ryd valg (Clear selection) removes all.
    • Stop: Tap Stop deling (Stop splitting) to go back to a normal payment.

Finishing up

The bill is paid, and the order is ready for the next customer.
